Oh, and they also have a tendency to throw in some Newlydeads tunes (as well as some Motochrist tunes as well) in their set. I've seen them do "Lipstick" a few times, "Submission" a TON of times, "In Denial" quite a few times, and "Sleeping Pill" once or twice.

That's the only Nuneaton I've ever heard of. I played there once, supporting the UK Subs. Scabby place it is. The club was full of skinheads calling themselves the "Camphill Liberation Army".

Actually, this lineup of FP DOES have new material in the can, to be released this year. I posted a link to their MySpace page with a couple of new tunes here a few months back.
I've always been a die-hard FP fan, but I love this lineup. Totally talented and very fun guys. And all of the new songs I've heard ("#1 With A Bullet", "Hey You", "Last Girl") ROCK.
I get a lil defensive about FP...they're my total favorite...seen 'em 35 times in the past four years.
Well!.... Nuneaton seems to be putting it's self on the rock 'n' roll map!!!?..... as today I picked up our local rag only to see an advert saying Sam Yaffa's new band were playing a place called 'THE CREW' in Nuneaton!!!!!
and then furtther down on the same ad.... Enuff'Z'Nuff Pretty Boy Floyd and Bang Tango are due to play there on April 3rd!!!?? Wow!
Who will maintain's Taime's questionable myspace
presence whilst he's on tour?
I'm with Bill on this: all these spurious 'classic'
glam bands touring with a quarter (at best) of
the line-up people remember them best for is a bit
lame. Although, some of the blame has to be attri-
buted to the people who buy the tickets, I suppose,
because it's their refusal to embrace whatever these
bands attempted to evolve into, who supply the
demand.
D.
edit...cos it's late and I'm on the wrong post, lol

In Madrid, they will be playing the same day that TNT and FIREHOUSE, what a bad luck!
Just to let you know that I have just confirmed
LOUD N NASTY as support to Faster Pussycat....

I like the sound of Loud 'N' Nasty especially Play Dirty. The Intro reminds me of an old kid programme called the Double Deckers LOL. Think I'll invest in the CD soon.
